The Chemex coffee maker uses the traditional filter method. Therefore, this process is carried out through its particularly thick paper filters which, thanks to gravity, make the filtering guarantee a coffee of excellent quality.

How does it work

1. Place the paper filter rolled into a cone shape on the top cone and pile the ground coffee on it.

2. Pour the hot water on top; Make it in the shape of circles from the inside out. Avoid touching the walls of the Chemex.Remember to add twice the water you use for coffee and let it pre-infuse for 30 seconds.

3. Add more water little by little, about 30 milliliters, and wait a few minutes to achieve a better extraction. Take care that the ground coffee never dries out.

4. The water is filtered by gravity and will fall into the bottom of the container.
